Meet Angeline LeLeux

Angeline LeLeux began serious study of the Alexander Technique in 1997 with Jeanne Barrett in Seattle, WA and qualified as an AmSAT-certified teacher of the F.M. Alexander Technique in 2001, through the Center for the Alexander Technique in Menlo Park, CA, Ed and Linda Avak, directors.

She has taught private lessons and group classes and presented workshops in both California and Tulsa, OK, and has been a movement coach for stage productions with Tulsa Community College's Theatre Department. A professional pianist and piano teacher for many years, Angeline learned about the Technique while researching strategies for coping with performance anxiety and was able to successfully work through complications from tendinitis and overuse by using Alexander’s principles.

Angeline holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and a master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy. She maintained a private piano studio from 1996-2015 and was a member of the music faculty at Tulsa Community College’s Southeast campus from 2012-2021, teaching private and class piano, chamber music, and Alexander Technique classes.
